There's only one problem. It'll never happen. We Americans are like alcoholics. We haven't hit bottom yet. We aren't going to change our ways. It's not bad enough yet for us to collectively scream "enough is enough". You know what's to be overcome - - he may be a bum, but he's my bum and I know him. Why would I vote for someone I didn't know? When it gets bad enough we'll vote out enough of them to make the point and the rest will get the hint. Unfortunately, they'll probably still be led by Princess Nancy and Prince Harry. In 2010 we've got the entire House up for re-election and 1/3rd of the senate. That's about 485 of them. Change that many and I do believe 60 senators will be wearing Depends for a while. But it's not bad enough. So it won't happen. It has to be bad enough that roughly 60 million of us start thinking the same way. This could take some time and a lot of Pepto Bismol before it happens. Keep the faith.
