I like winter, I like summer, and I LOVE fall – but – I can’t stand spring.  March and April are two useless months.  Sure, we get March Madness and we can look forward to Easter but other than that I can’t think of any redeeming value these two months have (although my brother and one of his sons were born in March and April – they might see that another way).

March and April bring horrible weather – it’s not warm – it’s not cold – it’s not winter – it’s not summer.  Wind.  Wind.  More wind.  We also get to fire off a check to Uncle Sam in April (though many of us do that quarterly anyway…). March and April are typically bad months for most businesses and industries too.  Blah.

I’m just looking forward to May – we’re good to go once we hit May.  We have summer and fall coming and I think everybody loves those two seasons.  I think I’ll just put my head to the grindstone and work like crazy for a couple of months until I can look up and see people at the pool.  Maybe if I work hard enough I can take a couple of weeks off and enjoy some of that upcoming weather!
