No Jacket in Oval Office
Are the republicans and the conservative members of the media gonna be just as bad with President Obama as the liberals were with President Bush? Holy crap – it’s getting downright silly now.
The latest controversy appears to be whether or not the President can sit at his desk without wearing a jacket. When I started reading these stories last week I just had to shrug my shoulders and laugh. Here we are about to hit double-digit unemployment, the financial markets are the most volatile we’ve ever seen, foreclosures are setting records in virtually every county in the country, we’re about to spend a $trillion bucks on something called a “stimulus”, an Israeli intelligence guru is saying we’re gonna be attacked in the next couple of months…and this is what we’re down to discussing…wardrobe?
I don’t even have a good description of how stupid this is. I can’t even put into words how irrelevant this is. I’m guessing this one is for those folks out there who are simply oblivious to the real issues.
And by the way…
You morons out there having a fit about this…you do know that there are dozens of pictures with President Reagan, President Bush, and George W sitting in the Oval Office without their jacket on…you are aware of this I hope?

Not wearing a jacket is not disrespectful – it is not as if they are naked! It IS disrespectful when you do the things in that ofice that Bill Clinton did.
