Food
I love food. I love eating out.
My wife and I were discussing the fact that the food in restaurants these days – the quality has increased tremendously. You can eat at an Applebees, Chili’s, Friday’s, in that price-range – the food is spectacular now. It used to be “ok” but for some reason over the past year or so it seems like dining out everywhere has become a better experience (with the exception of crappy service – you still roll the dice with that).
Here is my theory…
It’s the Food Network, Bravo, and all of the cooking shows. All of these cooks at these restaurants are trying their best to immulate Chefs. They are taking regular meals and putting their own little spin on it based on some of the things they see on these TV shows.
Now…if we could just start having shows about waiters and waitresses…
I think we’ll go eat now.
