RoadTrip – Good Food

Anyway, we headed out of Oakwood up into Gainesville and took Hwy 129 over to Cleveland. Prepare for traffic in Cleveland if you are headed north on 129 around the square – especially on a weekday around rush hour. We endured the traffic for a few minutes and headed out of town towards Helen on Hwy 75.
About halfway between Cleveland and Helen you will see a restaurant on your right called West Family Restaurant. This is where we stopped for an early dinner. We really like this place – we’ve been here several times before – the people are very friendly, the food is good, and the prices are reasonable.
They have a buffet (they also have a menu) and I decided to sample pretty much everything on the buffet – more than once. As as been the case before – the food was really good and we had a great time.
After leaving the restaurant we came back thru Cleveland and headed home. Taking a little roadtrip on a Friday afternoon – I highly recommend it.
