We can rest easy about the holiday season now – the bowl games have been announced! Looks like GA TECH will stay home and play LSU right here in the Dome while UGA will travel down to Orlando to play Michigan State. Of course, everybody will be watching the Florida – Oklahoma game – but – it’s on Jan 8! Man – I hate the way they drag these bowls out now.

Well, as a graduate of a Big 10 school, it’s nice to see 7 of them made it to bowl games. As a resident of SEC and ACC country, I know none of the Big 10 teams want to play down here. They’re better off staying home, taking the Saturday off and mailing it in. SEC and ACC teams are better than most other conferences, on the whole, these days. Oklahoma better start practicing their wind sprints now if they want to try to keep up with Florida. That will be a fun game to watch.
