First night flop
I have to say, that as a professional woman who would most likely be identified as a democrat by those who don’t know me well, the first night of the convention was a total flop. Michelle delivered the speech she needed to deliver; Senator Kennedy inspired the crowd.
Thats it.
You would have thought that the democrats might have sent out attack dogs to challenge the Bush Administration. It didn’t happen.
As a small business owner AND a woman I am appalled at the thought that the democratic party takes me for granted and assumes that I enjoy higher taxes and more regulation. I can’t believe they would suggest that because I’m pro-choice I automatically fall into their camp.
I am a proud capitalist, pro-choice republican who happens to be female. I can’t wait until next week when we see the GOP start messing up their little party that started out there in Denver.

Ted Kennedy did a great job. Mrs Obama did a great job. I thought the night went pretty good. Im still voting for McCain but dont underestimate those demmies.
