Tiger is human afterall
So after Tiger wins on the 91st hole of the US Open we find that he is indeed human. He’s got a bum knee. I’ve got a bum knee too but I can’t shoot a 70 at Torry Pines. Waaaa.
What’s golf gonna do?
Tiger drives the gate sales and he drives the TV ratings. Doesn’t matter what we think. Doesn’t matter what we feel. Those are facts. Tiger will miss the rest of the year and I’m quite sure the TV networks and advertisers are scrambling. Maybe they could get Earnhardt Jr to play in a couple of tournaments? At least he could drive a cart. Paris Hilton teeing off with Lindsey Lohan? Maybe they could shoot an episode of American Idol on the 18th green somewhere? I don’t know what they are gonna do. They gotta do something.
PGA Pros are not created equal. This sport is almost exclusively dependent on one participant and he’s not gonna be around for awhile.
