Proof of citizenship to vote

Voter FraudThis is a debate? Is this science-fiction?

I’ve been watching this debate for some time now and I still feel like I’m in some type of fantasyland. Maybe I’m on a reality tv show and I don’t know it. Maybe I misunderstood and these people are really just complaining about having to show ID to buy booze? I just can’t grasp the concept that there is someone out there who doesn’t think we should have to show identification in order to vote. Where are these people? Are they just little blurbs in the newspaper? Are they hired actors that run around on C-SPAN pretending to be stupid?

I bought some delicious Chateau Elan Duncan Creek wine on Saturday - too sweet for some, but we like it. Anyway, the gal at the package store had me show my ID. Hell I’m 48 years old! Of course I didn’t mind showing her my license - maybe we could change the law to where you have to show your license to vote so we can be sure you’re 18? Would that shut these people up?

It’s one thing to pander to groups for votes - I get that. I understand politics. It’s another thing to just dare voters to toss you out of office. Any elected official in the United States that doesn’t support fighting voter fraud by requiring voters to prove who they are - they should be tossed out of office. Do some checking between now and November - send a clear message. Doesn’t matter if they are democrat or republican, liberal or conservative - we don’t want elected officials who support voter fraud.

If you can’t prove who you say you are - if you can’t prove you are a citizen of the United States - then you can’t vote. Sorry bud.
