I’ve been thinking about who the candidates might select as a running mate and I’ve come up with my own suggestions:

If Obama wins the democratic primary - he should select Republican Senator Chuck Hagel - that rumor has been bouncing around and it would make a very strong ticket.

If Hillary wins the democratic primary - she should select General Wes Clark - former Presidential candidate.  This would give her some credibility with regards to foreign policy / defense / security issues.

Senator McCain - I’d like to see him select New Gingrich as his running mate - but - the rumor is that Newt has a little too much “baggage” in his past to seek any type of public office again.  I guess we’ll see.

I’m not labeling these as predictions - only suggestions.  I might make some actual predictions soon.  I’m not scared.
